I have created a section on Spirit and Self, knowing we are inspired by something or someone. Spirit and Self is another way to write about Purpose, Patience and Passion. It is an area to include more personal aspects of life and career. It is directed to our readers, regardless of age, who are interested in dedicating themselves to becoming the best person they can be all areas of life be it career, relationships and health.
I believe, life is not always “about us,” but if we expect to have some control over our environment, it is up to each of us to be selective in the way we spend our time, who we spend our time with, and how we spend our time. Those choices are personal; they are commitments that become the threads that enable us to create an environment for success and contentment.
Spirit and Self is about networking and how to identify the strengths each of us has to share with others. It’s also about evaluating ourselves in order to identify the weaknesses that allow people to undermine our confidence. It’s about regaining and maintaining control and confidence in our lives. It’s about focusing on the positive and reducing the negative that ebbs away at our existence.
I recently received one of those emails that most of us delete before reading. It began: “People come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime. The reason people come into your life is to meet a need you have expressed. Seasonal people come to you to help you share grow or learn. Lifetime folks teach you life lessons.”
