Congratulations to our 2017 Eastern and Western Divisional Champions and Average Winners.
The November Eastern Classic was a Cindy Harlan Show. Cindy and her husband Carl are owners of the C Bar C Expo Center. Clocking the fastest time and winning the Look for the Star in You Memorial Horseware Ireland Blanket Award, the Double Diamond Halter for the Senior Division and the 1D Grand Championship Team Camarillo Reinsman Saddle and matching Breast Collar. Cindy also won the Horseware Ireland bonus Award for the 1D Championship, a Horseware Ireland Sportz-Vibe Massage Therapy Blanket. Cindy was livin’ her dream by showcasing her horses’ consistent performance. Cindy’s Daughter Ashley won the 1D Reserve Championship Montana Silversmith buckle and Horseware Ireland Classic Vest, along with the 3D Team Camarillo Reinsman Saddle and Breast Collar on her second entry. Long Island, New York Michelle Miller won the 2D Team Camarillo Saddle and Breast Collar and former Black Hawk student, Jenn Thorne won the 4D Team Camarillo Saddle and Breast Collar. All Division winners received a 3 Month supply of MVP Exceed 6 Way and Equithrive products.
The July Western Classic is exciting as the beautiful facility boasts a covered standard WPRA pattern. Professional barrel racer and barrel horse trainer Jandee Smart, pregnant with hers and Classic Announcer husband Steve Smart’s second child, riding her bred mare, BCR Stella Bella won the 1D Grand Championship. Jandee won the Sharon Camarillo BRX Saddle and matching Breast Collar, along with the Horseware Island Bonus Award, Ice Vibe Sports Modality Boots from Horseware Ireland. Jandee ran the fastest time of the Western Classic winning the Memorial Look for the Star in You Horseware Ireland/Rambo blanket. Susie Gunter who has only missed competing in one Western Classic took the 2D Championship; 3D, Amy Sly and 4D, Bob Pelton all won Sharon Camarillo BRX Saddles and matching Breast Collars. Each Division Champion received a 3-month supply of MVP Exceed 6 Way and Equithrive products.
