Nettles Rustic Barrel Racer with Leveler Option

Our Nettles Barrel Racing Stirrup will make the perfect companion to your saddle. The stirrup wood has been darkened to bring out the wood grain and then varnished with a clear finish.  Besides being as comfortable as your favorite pair of boots, the stirrup’s wide middle and cut away sides gives that racer excellent in and out access.
A slightly shorter pin-to-tread length places the stirrup’s throat closer to the ankle for less shin pressure while those six wooden laminates add extra strength.

These stirrups feature a "gripper" tread and have the option of a "Leveler" added.   An unleveled stirrup causes a good to tilt, stressing the ankle.  Like sand in your shoe, even the smallest tilt can cause discomfort.
