CHANGING LIVES, ONE RIDER AT A TIME

This may seem a little out of place as I have never attended any of Sharon's barrel racing Clinics but I have known and admired her for over 20 years. In fact, I don't even barrel race, but having been involved in the rodeo business for 35 years as a western performer, I have always said when I grow up, I want to be Sharon Camarillo. Sharon, you are a true lady and such an inspiration and role model for all women young and old. You epitomize what a Western lady should be and you have carried yourself with dignity and class and for that I thank you for being one my greatest influences and motivations to keep doing what I do. I believe that our business needs more classy ladies like you and I try everyday to be more like you. God Bless You and may 2008 be a spectacular year!

– Jennifer Welch Nicholson, Riata Ranch International

I would like to thank Sharon again for taking time to personally help me during the Kewanee, IL, Clinic. I will be competing in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant this December and I really learned allot from Sharon that I can utilize during the Horsemanship competition as well as throughout the pageant! I am also looking forward to putting your techniques to work in the rodeo arena! I had a wonderful time and it was an honor to meet you. Thank you again and God Bless.

– Kelsea Dawn Walker, Miss Rodeo Illinois 2007

We are hoping you are going to be in Hawaii soon for another Sharon Camarillo Performance Horsemanship Clinic. We learned more than we have ever learned in our lives about barrel racing and horsemanship in the two days you were here in 2007! We heard through the grape vine that the last Clinic you held in Wiamea was great and everyone we know who went, said they dramatically felt a change in their horsemanship! Thanks!

– Grace and Lily, Hawaii

Thank you for the opportunity to attend your Clinic here in Hawaii on August 11th and 12th. Although I was just a spectator, I retained a lot of information and look forward to participating in your next Clinic here in Hawaii. Thank you for your words of encouragement and having confidence in me.

– Dottie Ponte, Waipahu, Hawaii

I would like to thank you so much for the time you took to talk to us. You are truly a kind person. Your book and DVDs will be so helpful. In that little time with you, you have encouraged my daughter Jessica a lot and she has big dreams with her horses.

– Carmen, Canada

It is Monday morning, after the Eastern Classic. I had such a great time. So many great people and horses. I look forward to next year. Thank you so much for taking the time to have this show for us. I know I can say from all of us from Wisconsin, we appreciate and love you. And I would like to thank all that were there and helped each and everyone of us. What a great family we have!

– Robin, Wisconsin

Thank you Sharon so much for a weekend full of learning. I have ridden with more than a few instructors but you are one of two I will never forget. Your message is clear and you teach it so well.

– Judy, Rhode Island

Sharon, I would like to thank you for helping me at the clinic in Klamath Falls, Oregon. You have no idea how much I look up to you and how grateful I am to have your help with my horses and to help guide my life. You are one of my idols. One of my graduation requirements is to do a report and speech about a Famous American. I have chosen to write about you.

– Alex, Oregon
